Timber Buildings Hampshire
Timber Buildings Hampshire – Horton Barns bought and developed this site in Winchester Road, Waltham Chase in 2010 and constructed a 3-bedroom detached chalet style bungalow in a timber frame design, featuring a red brick exterior with oak windows. The dwelling included some feature oak beams, a traditional oak staircase, as well as signature oak doors. Worked was halted for a week in the winter due to abnormal weather conditions, as seen below, but was finished in the Autumn of 2010.

Timber Buildings Hampshire – Horton Barns
Timber is a natural product, which is recyclable and biodegradable. Timber requires significantly less energy to produce than that of a steel or concrete substance. This renewable resource gives more efficient thermal values as opposed to a standard ‘brick and block’ house, making it easier and cheaper to produce as well as heating the property.
Horton Barns offer flexible design packages, allowing you to incorporate you own ideas into the build. Our team can supply pre-fabricated timber frame panels for your self-build, or we can project manage and foresee the build from phase 1 all-the-way to the end of the project. All timber framed panels are constructed at our main workshop, to the exact measurements laid out. Panels can take a variety of styles and construction methods, allowing for user defined thermal values (u-values), to suit your various requirements.
